I bought the WIDE footbed to replace the footbeds in a pair of medium width Alegria Debras. The wide footbed is actually the same width as the standard medium footbed, but it is thinner. This creates more room for your foot. It allows me to wear the thicker socks I prefer with the Debra style. I've ordered a pair of Palomas with the wide footbed and believe it will solve the problem I had with a 39 medium Paloma being too shallow in vertical depth at the toe, while a 40 medium was too long.
